Delete your account

From inside the app

This is the fastest route, and it works for guest accounts too. You don’t need to have signed in.

1. Open the account sheet and choose Delete account and data, or Erase everything and start fresh if you never linked a Google or Apple account.
2. You’ll be shown exactly what will be destroyed and asked to confirm. If your account is linked to Google or Apple, you’ll sign in with that provider once more first, which confirms the account being deleted is yours. Cancelling that prompt deletes nothing.
3. Deletion removes your recipes, weekly plan, grocery list and its edits, preferences, every photo you uploaded, and any public share links created from your account. It cannot be undone.

Server-only recipe-cache entries are not removed, because they hold no account identifier and are shared across everyone using Spuno. They expire on their own after 60 days.

By email instead

If you can’t use the in-app control, we’ll do it for you. That covers having already removed the app, having lost access to the account, and the in-app route failing.

1. Email support@spuno.app with the subject line “Delete my account”. Any address works.
2. If you know it, include the email linked to your account (Google or Apple Sign-In). If your account is anonymous, with no linked sign-in, tell us about your device instead (make and roughly when you joined) so we can help locate it.
3. Include any public share links you also want removed. Those snapshots deliberately carry no account identifier, so we can’t find them from your account alone.
4. We confirm the request and permanently delete your account and its data within 30 days.

Deleting the app on its own does not delete your data. Your recipes and plans stay on our servers, and on iPhone the credential identifying your account normally survives deleting the app, so reinstalling usually signs you back in with everything intact. Use one of the two routes above if you want the data gone.
